Media from reviews

Passport unprofessional services trying to get passport photos & rudeness of a clerk doing it
A clerk doing this service & being a clerk there was so rude, never smiled, never said thank you (a very rude brat); when she was to take the photo, she just stood before & snapped the photo without even letting me know when she was taking it.
Then she printed the photos without letting me review them & put them in a cardboard folder & asked me if I wanted a bag? & I continued not to smile & rang them up at the register; the place where they were taking the photos was near the front 2 registers where there were long lines of customers & the clerk interrupted the passport photo session to check out a customer? Weird, rude behavior to say the least.I
User's recommendation: Stay away from CVS in Clarion, PA & the clerk, passport photo business there.

Verified Reviewer |Never got my photos I order a month ago
His name is Elizabeth Dakota, and I ordered, I don't know, now a month or so ago, some photos I'm supposed to be sent to 30 Howard Street, apartment 2, in Keene 03431, and it has not been. I called about 2 weeks ago to CVS in Keene, New Hampshire, and they said they have no record of me even ordering them.
I have proof, and nine bucks is taken out of my Cash App account.
Please get back to me. 603-762-****
Where are my photos
Took my money then nothing. CVS would not stand behind their affiliate company.
Bad experience. There is no tracking number.
I was told seven business days 13 business ago and nothing. I am very disappointed.

Verified Reviewer |NOT RELIABLE!
Placed an order for holiday cards on 12/7. Estimated delivery was 12/13.
On 12/12 I received an email that my item has shipped and is waiting for UPS (the carrier) to pick it up. As of 12/14 the item is still waiting for UPS to pick it up. I spoke to Customer Service for CVS on 12/13 and they said they would send an email to the vendor to expedite the order. It was at this point I realized that CVS does not print these, but farms them out to an outside company!
I wont be doing business with them again. Ill stick to Shutterfly.
CVS is horrible
I paid onlying for my order and went to pick them up they lost almost all of my order expect for one 8*10 how do you loose 30 photos? And then tell me I have to pay again when I have the reciept in hand!??? This is the second time this happened the first time I paid prior online and use $5 coupon of my xtra bucks and when I arrived the woman changed the price took off the couple and refused to give me my pictures unless I paid the extra money they are rip off artists !!!
User's recommendation: Do not go there!!!!!!

CVS was so helpful fixing a problem I had when I ordered photo books
I ordered photo books and the coupon code did not take and they placed my order with double the amount of money and when I called CVS photo they were amazing at helping to credit the 50% savings. They were polite, caring, and extremely helpful.
User's recommendation: Just make the call and they will help you

I paid over 50 dollars for a handful of photos. I just got them and they were horrible.
Blurry, some light and some dark.
The worst quality I've seen. It's like they don't even care about the their quality or their customer.
User's recommendation: Fund somewhere else to print photos. Don't waste your money.

Verified Reviewer |Passport photos were rejected
My wife and I, Canadians living in US, took pictures at CVS for ourCanadian passport renewal - I noticed the photos were low quality, but the CVS photographer told me she was familiar with the process and the photos were acceptable - Canadian authorities rejected both photos for being of too poor quality. It cost me -$35 photos charges plus $60 in mail charges.
It will delay the renewal in at least 2 months. My advice is to look for a photo studio
- Fast
- Poor quality

My mistake, not CVS. I failed to detect that the order I had placed was actually with Quick Photo, which is a third party company,
Quick Photo delivery was way beyond their promised time, and they never answered my emails about the order.
User's recommendation: Make sure it’s actually CVS that you place your photo order with!
My mistake!
Quick Photo app presented as being CVS photo service, its actually a third party operation, I should have detected that. My photos never arrived and they havent responded to emails, and their phone number is not in operation.
User's recommendation: Make sure you are at the CVS photos site!
Photos
I put in a disposable camera to be sent out to develop at the end of January 2024 with sentimental pictures . When it came back 2 months later they were not my picture.
I have been dealing with the cvs 1800 and Fuji number for over a month with no resolution as of April 30 2024.
The employees at the cvs location are trying to be as helpful as possible . I have called three times with a description of my pictures and every time I call, they have no notation of it.
User's recommendation: Don’t do CVS photos that have to be sent out

Verified Reviewer |I'm 65 abd this was the worst experience of my life
I ordered prints for my business customers on 9 11 23. I got a call the next day and the lady said "Our machine is broken it will take weeks to get it fixed" and she said she would refund my money.
She said they couldn't transfer it to another store I need to reorder and repay again. 3 days later no money and I got an automated call to go to 5601 Van Nuys BLVd my order was ready. so I went there and after 30 minutes they told me it's not there go to the one on Victory. I get to Victory and he said he is going to download it and print it and hes unable to download it.
He told me to call the 800 number and they said they were closed and it was normal business hours. It gets worse. When I initially tried to order it online it wouldnt accept 2 of my cards so I called Wells Fargo they said it was on CVS end not theirs. So I try a 3rd acard and it works.
I had to order the prints elsewhere to keep my client happy and Im out $100! Thank goddess I didnt give them one of my big $10k orders they would have put me out of business.
Its like they are living in 1990 Ill never ever set foot ion a CVS again!!! Im going to takle the CVS advice and go to walgreens Ill never set foot in a CVS again!!!
- Are horrible

Printer blurred passport photos
How can you pay $17 before tax for passport photos that have printer blur? Totally unacceptable and stupid.
I should have argued with the guy more, but I felt bad. It's not his fault the printer is not at all equipped for passport photos...
CVS should do better. Do not get passport photos printed here...
They lost my photo taken at my child's birthday
Returned long photos and after two months of excuses...they cannot locate them. They keep no record of your calls to their "customer service" center so you have to start over with every damn call.
Extremely frustrating dealing with people reading scripts and just wanting you to get off the line so they can lie to someone else. The stores take NO responsibility for the pictures.
NONE. So you have have to duke it out with people making minimum wage.

Every time I order a photo project CVS messes it up. From not being available on time to not printing the product on the correct media to poor quality prints and zero accountability customer service they have ruined every single one of my orders. Don't take your precious memories here to be printed.
User's recommendation: Avoid at all costs

Whatever you were comparing your visit to, go there next time. You’re dealing with minimum wage, low-brow retail. Not well paid high end luxury establishments.
