Be sure and look at your order before paying for it or if you have paid for it on line, look at it and keep all receipts

I ordered photo ornaments on line. The color and placement looked great on my computer. Paid for them on line, went to pick them up at the store 2 weeks later, got them home and they are terrible! Color and placement! Photos arent what they used to be!

I accidentally posted this before finishing my review. I submitted a new completed review.

I went there to take my passport photo. The staff member who took the picture did not even warned me when she took it and did not let me see it until she was about to print it. I told her I did not like it and she still printed it and said she could not do it again as it had all the check marks for the certificate for biometrics passport photos. I was in a rush so I did not even try to talk to a manager. I was charged about $14 for a terrible picture. Costco have them at 3.99 and they even ask you if you like the picture as they insert it will be in your passport for some years.

Misleading pricing and poor picture quality

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Submitted a set of 27 jpeg images from a thumb drive for 1 hour processing. Kiosk displayed $0.25 per shot.

Nowhere on the menu did it say for 50 prints. Receipt charge $0.35 per shot. Manager wasn't immediately available so I returned a few hours later. I thought the problem might be I needed to use my CVS card but that was not the problem.

When told about this discrepancy store manager said $0.25 per shot was for 50 prints. I asked him where it said this on the screen while going through the menus with him. His response was it somewhere but that's the company policy. My prints were also temporarily misplaced.

After about 15 minutes of waiting my prints did show up and I was given them free because of the inconvenience.

That said the picture came out lousy.

Seems the processor added back a lot the red I had processed out. CVS/Kodak have gone downhill.

Just wanted to clarify that I went to take my pictures again at Costco not at CVS. I have not returned to that CVS to talk to the manager as I’m currently out of the country.

Original review Sep 30, 2019
I needed a passport photo. I was going to take it at UPS, but since their print machine was not working, I went to the CVS as it was the nearest place.

The staff member who took the picture did not even warned me when she took it and did not let me see it until she was about to print it.
I told her before she printed it that I did not like the photo. She still printed it and said she could not do it again as it had all the check-marks for the certificate for biometrics passport photos. I was in a rush so I did not even tried speaking to a manager.
I was charged about $14 for a terrible picture. My friend took her pic at Costco for only 3.99.

I went there to take my pictures again. The staff member showed me the picture and asked me if I liked it before he took it to get it printed.

The quality was way better! They do understand that picture was going to be in my passport for 10 years.

Terrible Quality absolutely Terrible! The photos came out with bad lighting and coloring that wasnt in the original photo. The detail is vastly different. my phone takes 8mbs per pic and the pic that is printed is joke. It looks like 100Kbs. I had 2 photos printed here and 1 printed a Wallgreens and the comparison is absolutely shocking. See the attchments. The pictures of my daughter on the right are from Wallgreens. The pictures on the left are from This terrible excuse for photo printing service. Then look at the originals that are attached individually for the original quality. Furthermore, I asked for no background trim and they all came out with white background trim.

CVS Photo Fraud

Cvs with T-Mobile offered 10 free photos for T-Mobile Tuesday. Cvs never honored this offer. I was charged for my prints and they refuse to give me a refund. Order your photos from anyone other than Cvs.

Complete Disappointment, Want a Refund ... NO RESPONSE!

I ordered my daughter's high school graduation invitations from CVS Photo, so disappointed!!! The preview did not show any errors, the type looked large enough to read and fit in the text box, however when the invitations arrived they were totally illegible and half the information was missing. I have tried contact CVS Photo Customer Service several times this week, still have not received the courtesy of an email or a phone call. I have always printed our holiday cards at CVS, as well as most of our photos and enlargements... I will not be ordering from the ever again.

Passport Size Photo taken wrong

Cvs Photo - Passport Size Photo taken wrong
I went there to get passport size photos, output was worse than I expected. The horrific lighting and cheap digital camera just distorted my facial features and skin tone, broken pixels, cheap quality paper been used. They just took a photo didn't even ask if I liked it or not and just straight went for printing. It is not even in 2*2 size. Very disappointed. Did not like it.

Photo got lost

I ordered "same day pick up" and the photo was not available the second day. The cashier said: "We do not have it. Sometimes they get lost. Sometimes you just don't get it." I promise this was her exact words.

DO NOT USE CVS FOR PASSPORT PHOTOS!!

Terrible terrible terrible experience! I had my passport photos taken at a neighborhood cvs and sent in to state dept via a courier service because we needed to rush the order. The photos were rejected because of bad exposureeven though they give you this little proof card saying all requirements have been met. You would think i learned my lesson after this waste of time and money, and then having to pay a separate fee for repeat processing by the state department plus additional courier fees. But no, out of convenience, I went to ANOTHER CVS and the SAME thing happened again! I wont be a cvs photo customer ever again. BUYER BEWARE!
